From PomoHistoryOrg

Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) officially opened its doors on 7 April 1984.

ERH is a 'Community Hospital' located in Port Moody, British Columbia, on the Port Moody/Coquitlam border.

As a community hospital, Eagle Ridge Hospital provides primary and secondary acute care and some specialty services that can be accessed with or without referrals, such as 24/7 emergency, diagnostics, inpatient and outpatient care in general medicine, rehabilitation, surgery and other specialty services such as urology, plastics, and orthopedics.

The hospital also offers public education clinics for asthma, diabetes, rehabilitation services and programs for cardiology, children's grief recovery, youth crisis response and early psychosis prevention.

In 2020, ERH opened the Bruce Kehler Cardiology Clinic, through a donation from the Kehler family.

ERH is one of 12 hospitals under the jurisdiction of Fraser Health, which services more than 1.3 million people.

Nearby Eagle Ridge Manor provides 24-hour care in a home-like environment for an additional 75 residents in private and semi-private rooms.
